Beach safety

The Bergen Rescue Brigade is responsible for the safety of beach lovers during the summer season. On the signs at the beach entrances you will find information on how to swim safely in the sea. Respect the North Sea, it is not a harmless bathing lake. In addition, there are some rules to be followed, such as where and when dogs and horses are allowed on the beach or the use of canoes and boats. Look at the municipal website for an overview of the rule.
